Feb. 20th, 2019 05:42 pmI had my MRI yesterday. The night before I sort of panicked and last minute asked my friend Simone to drive me. She was babysitting so I got a 2 for 1 deal with Simone and the toddler she was watching, Eliana, who is super cute and a good distraction.
I had no idea MRIs could be so loud! The radiologist technician asked me if I wanted earplugs or headphones with music. I chose the headphones and she told me I could choose whatever off of Pandora. She already had it on meditation music and I stuck with that and pretty much had my eyes closed the entire time. I had to hold my breath a lot. The order was for an MRI without and with contrast, so I got an IV and for the last part, I could feel the contract going in, but it wasn't bad.
What has me nervous now is that my doctor's office called me and I have an appointment tomorrow morning to go over the MRI results.
